Beef tongue and vegetables

There are many ways to prepare a tongue if you like them. In that recipe, the tongue will be accompanied by several types of vegetables. It takes a while to cook it if you want it to be tender but you will have a good dish to share with your friends.

Beef tongue and vegetables

Ingredients

 1.10 kg beef tongue
 1 package of vegetables for broiled meat
 6 potatoes
 Salt, pepper
 1 bouquet garnished
 2 minced onions
 1 beef bouillon cube
 20 g margarine
 1 tbsp flour
 1 tbsp tomato concentrate
 10 pickles cut into slices
 1 small amount of juice from the pickles

Directions

In the bowl of the instant pot put the tongue, salt, pepper, bouquet garnished, bouillon cube

Cover with water

Put the instant pot in quick cooking mode 1 hour

Peel the vegetables

After cooking remove the skin from the tongue (do not empty the water from the bowl)

Return the meat, add the vegetables and cook for 20 minutes more

After cooking, remove the ingredients while keeping the broth

In a saucepan melt the margarine

Add the flour and tomato sauce

Mix

Add the pickles and their juices

Wet with the cooking broth
