Often, lentils are served with some kind of sausage. Usually, it helps the flavors of the lentils. In that recipe, they are mixed up with Toulouse sausage, carrots, and good spices.
Ingredients
4 Toulouse sausages
1 large chopped onion
2 diced carrots
270 g lentils
1 portion bouquet garnished
1 package of bacon

Directions
Fry sausages without fat
Remove them and fry instead the onion and carrots
Add lentils
Cover with water
Add the portion of bouquet garnished, bacon, and sausages
Add pepper
