Here is another way to prepare beef shins. You fry them and then add some vegetables before cooking them. The bone marrow will enhance nicely the dish.

3 carrots in slices
4 potatoes in cubes
1 large onion, minced
200 ml red wine
100 ml water
2 tbsp flour

Put the instant pot in mode browning
Fry the onion and meat
Add the flour
Mix
Add the rest of the ingredients
Switch the instant pot to pressure cooking mode 30min
