Boiled chicken or hen with rice

This is quite a long recipe of boiled chicken because of the preparation accompanying the meat. Small meatball, mushrooms, and a few herbs will consist of the sauce. So, there are two preparation involved but the result will worth it.

Ingredients

 1 hen or free-range chicken
 2 carrots in rings
 2 turnips in pieces
 2 chopped onions
 1 cube chicken bouillon
 250 g ground veal meat
 250 g chopped mushrooms
 1 lemon juice
  Bread crumbs
  Salt, pepper
 Curry
 1 bouquet garnished
 100 g flour
 100 g butter

Directions

Put the chicken, carrots, turnips, and onions in the instant pot

Add the broth and cover with water, salt, and pepper

Put the bouquet garnished

Put the instant pot in pressure cooking 30min

During cooking, make mini balls with the chopped, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs

Remove everything from the tank except the broth

Poach the balls in the broth

Reserve

Empty and dry the bowl

Put the instant pot in mode browning

In a little butter, fry the mushrooms

Take them out and set aside

Put some butter back and add the flour

Pour in the 1 liter of broth and mix until thickened

Salt and pepper

Put the curry and lemon juice

Add the meatballs, mushrooms and the hen in pieces

Put the instant pot in warming mode for a few moments

Serve with rice
