Sauerkraut can also be served without meat as a simple supper. It is a good vegetable that will taste good by itself if you add plenty of spices and herbs to enhance the dish.

Ingredients

 800 g raw sauerkraut
 2 chopped shallots
 1 onion cut with cloves
 A few juniper berries
  The juice of a lemon
 1 bouquet garnished
 1 garlic head (break into cloves but do not peel them)
  Salt and pepper
 150 ml vegetable broth
 Oil

Directions

Put the sauerkraut in the instant pot and cover with water

Cook under pressure 30min

At the end of cooking, empty the tank and drain the sauerkraut

Put the instant pot in mode browning

Fry the shallots in oil

Add the sauerkraut, onion, berries, lemon juice and bouquet garnished

Stir and add the broth

Put the unpeeled garlic

Put the instant pot in pressure cooking under 30min
